Rapid Gets Creative is looking for feedback [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) – City Hall in Rapid City is looking to get creative.

Rapid City wants to take a more creative approach to developing its new City Comprehensive Plan. Launching ‘Rapid Gets Creative,’ an arts-based strategy to receive ideas and feedback from the community on what should be included in the plan.

The initiative allows people to give input in creating a document that would guide decision-making and development from the city in sectors such as the local economy, housing, quality of life and transportation. To obtain feedback, the city will run an online arts showcase.

Through the showcase, people can submit poems, paintings, and drawings. Allowing them to convey what they love the most about Rapid City.
