How to Sell Online Courses to Corporate Clients

Most course creators don’t know enterprise clients won’t buy 1,000’s of seats to your course unless it can be uploaded into their LMS as a SCORM or Tin Can file.

If you want to sell hundreds or thousands of course seats to large corporations, you need to create your course in a format compatible with enterprise level learning management systems (LMS).

Here’s why your course should be in a SCORM or xAPI (Tin Can) file format.

It standardizes your course delivery for any SCORM compatible LMS system
Your course can have interactive capabilities that increase engagement
It opens up licensing possibilities with enterprise level clients and large corporations, giving you the opportunity to sell tens of thousands of dollars worth of courses

But SCORM files aren’t enough for doing business outside of your LMS. You’re going to need a content license management system to make sure you get paid and keep control of your course content.
