How to Improve Your Squarespace Blog SEO with a Custom Sidebar

Creating a sidebar in your Squarespace Blog is a great way to improve your site’s SEO. By linking to other relevant content, and adding a brief personal bio to your sidebar navigation, you are building your credibility, establishing trust with your audience (especially those who may have just found your content organically and not know you very well), and you are keeping your website visitors engaged in your content for a longer period of time which is SEO gold.

In this free Squarespace tutorial, I’ll give you a brief rundown of how a sidebar can improve the SEO of your website and blog content, and walk you through the steps I used to add content to my sidebar navigation using a blog and summary block, how to customize the style of the sidebar within my blog, and how to add the sidebar with archived blog content to an individual blog post.
