Robert Felix from Felix Appliance, Heating & Air shares his rebranding journey and how one mistake cost him tens of thousands of dollars in wasted marketing and resources.

KickCharge stepped in to consolidate the company’s newer and existing services under the singular Felix brand. First, we disbanded “Golden Sword,” the brand created by another company to house Felix’s additional services. The name and look failed to resonate with women, the company’s core target demographic. Even worse, customers were constantly calling Golden Sword looking for Felix Appliance. The confusion was causing chaos and costing Felix new opportunities by the minute. It was time for our team to take the reins and turn things around for our friends at Felix.

We built a new brand featuring the likeness of Robert, followed by a disruptive and visually stunning truck wrap design. The results were almost instantaneous. No longer burdened by two separate brands and confused customers, Felix increased its revenue by $500k (35%) without ever increasing its ad spend. The company’s perceived value skyrocketed with the new brand—and so did their average tickets.
