A woman who believed she was buying a large ribbon decoration for her door was left in shock when she saw what actually arrived.
Whitney Ashmore, 27, lives in Oklahoma, and recently went online shopping for home decor, landing on a page on Temu with a photo of a large pink ribbon on a front door.
But when her item arrived, she told Newsweek: “I was in utter disbelief that the item name was in fact not what I received.”
She took to her TikTok account @whitkash where she joked: “Temu count your days,” and shared a video that has been viewed a whopping 17 million times since being posted in January.
In the clip, Ashmore showed the image of what she ordered, what she thought was a “satin bow to hang on the outside of your door.”
