One day after placing a ban on all inbound parcels from China and Hong Kong, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) reversed its new policy, announcing on Wednesday it will “continue accepting” parcels from the region.

Why It Matters
The original announcement to suspend all incoming parcels came as President Donald Trump introduced a 10 percent tariff on Chinese imports and removed duty-free handling of small-value parcels.
The suspension threatened to seriously impact trade and make products from China across industries, including consumer e-commerce purchases from fast-fashion chain Shein, more expensive and difficult obtain for Americans.
