Shocking truth behind photo of ‘Amazon workers’ who rang elderly man’s doorbell [Video]

Two suspects posing as Amazon delivery workers brutally beat an elderly Georgia man after he answered his door expecting a package at his Savannah home. 

George ‘Dick’ Hardison, 66, heard a knock on his door early Saturday morning, but as he opened his door, two men posing as Amazon delivery workers pushed their way in and proceeded to beat the elderly man with ‘some kind of sledgehammer,’ according to a report by Savannah Police. 

The disguised ‘Amazon workers’ wore the e-commerce company’s signature blue-and-black jackets, covered their faces and even carried a package as they walked into Hardison’s home on Price Street around 8 am.

The two men allegedly demanded money once inside Hardison’s home, before they beat him – nearly to death.

Hardison, who is a bartender at O’Connell’s Pub, just one mile from his home, was beaten so badly he was sent to a nearby hospital where he received 14 staples in his head.
