PvP in Black Desert Online is getting bigger, a LOT bigger, today as the MMORPG‘s War of the Roses hits servers. High-end players and guilds will take to land and sea with new player roles, tactics, and…(checks notes)…apparently a 300 versus 300 group size.

To take part, you’ll either need to already be part of a guild that has qualified through Node and Conquest War prowess or be willing to sign up individually as a mercenary. If you want to go the latter route, you’ll need a combined AP and DP score of 700 or greater.
Once on the field, guild leaders can designate one Captain and three Lieutenants. These battle leaders have important work to do guiding platoons towards objectives and they’ll have access to a top-down tactical map to help plan the way.
