New app give Tyler ISD parents access to child’s online activity [Video]

Not only will parents be allowed to monitor school issued devices, parents will also be allowed to use the app on two additional devices in the home.

TYLER, Texas — Tyler ISD has introduced a new app that will allow parents and guardians to gain access to their child’s online activity on school-issued devices.

Tyler ISD says the district is taking their safety strategy one step further by partnering with Qustodio, a world-leading provider of parental control app technology, and are planning to give a free parental control app to every parent in the district.

The app will allow parents to gain visibility of their children’s online activity on their school-issued devices.
