OHIO, USA — A recent online shopping frenzy erupted when Walmart briefly offered handbags strikingly similar to the luxury Hermès Birkin bags for under $100. These “Wirkin” bags – as they’re being called online – quickly sold out.

Now that many are elated with the deal of the century, others are wondering: is this even legal?
