“Dave has become an integral part of the CSIT program by offering various courses that have expanded from math into computer science, and his schedule is filled with computer science courses including Computer Programming 1 and 2, Web Development 1 and 2, AP Computer Science Principles, and AP Computer Science A. He has effectively built the computer science program at Cyprus High School through his concerted effort to provide students with real-world skills and career opportunities. He has also committed to joining the AP Career Kick Start in Cybersecurity to offer two AP courses (Networking, Cybersecurity Fundamentals) next school year which includes him attending a 5-day training this summer. Dave is truly an educator through his core, and he teaches for the love of helping students develop skills that will help them become viable, active contributing members of our community.”
