To anyone under the age of 30, it may sound like a foreign language.
But a blinds company in Ayrshire has gone viral online due to its marketing campaign using the terminology of ‘Gen Z’ youngsters.
Companies such as Currys and Thorpe Park have already tried targeting young people by using modern slang terms in their marketing material.
But since last month, Irvine-based Ayrshire Blinds’ humorous attempt to harness the language of teenagers has resulted in 4.5million views.
Much of the video’s success is down to managing director Adam Moonie, who recites a script in a dead-pan, monotonous voice.
In the 40-second viral video, Mr Moonie showcases the best Ayrshire Blinds has to offer in case you are bored with your ‘fugly’ ones at home.
He guaranteed that they are ‘the goat’ and ‘all at affordable prices, no cap’.
