County Clare will be showcased in a television advertisement that will be aired world-wide at this year’s Super Bowl.
The biggest game in the NFL calendar and one of the most watched sporting events in the world, will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday next.
Squarespace, the design-driven platform helping entrepreneurs build brands and businesses online, has unveiled its 11th Super Bowl campaign starring acclaimed actor Barry Keoghan and featuring areas of County Clare including the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Carron, Miltown Malbay and the Kilmurry Ibrickane.
Young Sheamie Garrihy from Kilfenora, who went viral after his appearance on the Late Late Show last year, also features in the segment.
The 30-second spot, titled ‘A Tale As Old As Websites’, will air between the first and second quarters of Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025.
