I didn’t come from money… [Video]

Sometimes when we see people we look up to online, we’re only seeing where they are RIGHT NOW. But we don’t always see how they got there.
Being raised in a single-income household for a family of seven, you could say money wasn’t readily available 😅

My mom was an AMAZING stay-at-home mom and my dad busted his butt working easily more than 40 hours/week to provide for us kiddos.

Learning how to save money, or not spend money, was engrained in me at a very young age. And I think because of that, I always wanted to learn how to make MORE money. I hated seeing the struggle money caused our family.
To be clear, my parents never brought us into their money conversations. They were ALWAYS outwardly showing us love at every corner, cutting coupons was a FUN activity that we did together, and they did an amazing job at making sure we were always provided for even if it meant my mom would pick up extra jobs here and there.

While I didn’t come from a fancy shmancy, or rich lifestyle AT ALL. And I wasn’t taught business or investing from anyone in my life. I’m proud to say every penny I’ve made, I’ve had to earn myself.
