ATU adds 2 new mental health resources to its university [Video]

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas Tech University has announced two new approaches to mental health resources on its campus that will begin this fall.

“Arkansas Tech University is taking two proactive steps to help its students protect and enhance their well-being through the transitions that take place during their current stage in life,” the university said.

One of those resources is ATU’s new YOU online tool. This online portal allows students to “access resources and information to help them manage their day-to-day life and pursue improvement in their approach to challenges,” the college said. 

Why online?

This resource is available to students, faculty, and staff. Kristy Davis, the ATU associate dean for student Wellness, says the choice of this resource is based on the preferences of this generation.
