Google Analytics 4 – Upgrade to GA4 from Universal Analytics – Dubai, UAE [Video]

Google Analytics 4 is a next-generation measurement solution by Google, and it’s replacing Universal Analytics. On June 30, 2023, Google is sunsetting Universal Analytics and it will no longer provide any further analysis of your website or app from July 1, 2023. If you still rely on Universal Analytics, it is recommended that you prepare to use Google Analytics 4 going forward. What’s new in Google Analytics 4? GA4 (short for Google Analytics 4) is a new version of Google Analytics that was released in October 2020. GA4 focuses on providing users with more insights into the customer journey across multiple devices and channels. Some key features of GA4 include the ability to collect and analyze data from various sources, such as apps and web properties, improved machine learning capabilities, and enhanced reporting and analysis tools. GA4 vs Universal Analytics GA4 and Universal Analytics are two different versions of Google Analytics. Universal Analytics, also known as UA, is the previous version of Google Analytics and is still widely used by many organizations. GA4, on the other hand, is the latest version of Google Analytics and has a number of new features and improvements over UA. Some key differences between GA4 and UA include the following: GA4 has a more flexible event-based architecture, which allows users to collect and analyze data from a wider range of sources, such as apps and web properties. UA, on the other hand, is focused mainly on tracking web-based activities. GA4 includes improved machine learning capabilities, which can automatically identify patterns and trends in your data. UA does not have this feature. GA4 has enhanced reporting and analysis tools, including the ability to create custom reports and use predictive analysis to forecast future trends. UA has more limited reporting and analysis capabilities. GA4 allows users to set up conversion goals and track the customer journey across multiple devices and channels. UA does not have this feature. Overall, GA4 is a more powerful and flexible analytics tool than UA and is well-suited for organizations that want to gain a deeper understanding of their customers and their behavior.
