A video has emerged of a US activist criticising a school board member for online shopping during a discussion about a Confederate school name.
Louisiana School board member Connie Bernard was photographed online shopping during a meeting about changing the name of Lee High School, named after Confederate general Robert E. Lee.
Days before the meeting Ms Bernard said she wanted to keep the school's name to honour its legacy.
The video posted to Twitter today shows activist, Gary Chambers Jr. standing at a podium ripping into Ms Bernand over the photograph and her defence of the school's name.
"You sit your arrogant self in here and sit on there shopping while the pain and the hurt of the people of this community is on display because you don't give a damn and you should resign." Said Mr Chambers.
