Tesco outline their latest shopping measures ahead of lockdown
Supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Aldi have faced an increase in demand for home delivery slots with more Britons staying at home due to the pandemic. Here is the latest advice from each retailer on booking a grocery shop to be delivered.
Tesco is currently prioritising its vulnerable customers who have been identified by the Government as needing extra help.
However they have increased the amount of home delivery slots available for everyone.
The supermarket said: “We’ve already added hundreds of thousands of new slots, and we’re recruiting new colleagues to pick your orders, plus thousands of new drivers to deliver them.”
The retailer is also expanding its Click + Collect service where customers can pick up groceries contact-free.
