Do you want to learn how to write content that ranks well in Google, even after Google’s next algorithm update? Today I’m going to break down how to write content that ranks in 2022’s crazy SEO landscape. So look, it comes down to seven simple steps when it comes to writing content that works well in the future Google. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/How to Write Blog Posts That Are Better Than Any Other Content Piece On The Web (And Rank Page #1): https://youtu.be/7DjgqRPHQGIThe Content Marketing TRAP: Why Writing Content Can Drive ZERO Traffic: https://youtu.be/a5PsN-Zuga8____________________________________________One, focus on helping your readers overcome a specific problem. See, when people write content and they’re just like, “Oh, let me do the keyword research.” And we have tools like Ubersuggest that help you do the keyword research, but it’s not just about writing content that gets traffic. It’s about helping people solve their problems.Number two, spend 40% of your time on your headline. 8 out of 10 people will read your headline, but only 2 out of 10 will click through and read the rest of the article. That’s the power of writing amazing headline. You can get more than 2 out of 10 people to actually click through and read the rest of your article. So really focus on writing attractive headlines. And you can use tools like Ubersuggest that come up with good headlines. Whenever you type a keyword into Ubersuggest, you’ll see a report on the left-hand navigation called content ideas. These are all the articles that have done well on Facebook and Pinterest and other social networks. Look at that share count. That’ll give you idea of what will work and what won’t work. Number three, anchor your main topic to the keywords that the have the highest significant search volume. In other words, your keywords should be related to that main topic that you’re writing about. And you want to build one more thorough piece of content versus having lots of little ones, and that’s why I’m saying look at your main keyword and make sure your other keywords compliment it and are anchoring with it. Four, build your content outline based on what’s working for competitors and the most relevant keywords that you can find because look, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Whatever you’re writing content on, do a search on Google. You’ll see the people who are number one, two, three, go all the way down to 10. See what they’re doing. You know, for fun sake, actually go to page three or four of Google and look at the pages that are ranking on page three or four. See what they’re not doing compared to the people that are ranking at the top. It’ll give you an idea of what the top 10 people are doing and what you should be emulating.Five, offer practical and actual advice. No one wants to read something and be like, “Huh, that was a waste of time. I didn’t get anything out of that.” They want to read your article and be like, “Wow, the article from Neil has got me fired up. I’m going to go out there and work on increasing my SEO traffic.” That’s the kind of enthusiasm you want when you’re writing articles.Six, do internal linking to other relevant content piece on your website. I want you to avoid excessive anchor texts when you’re doing the optimization or internal linking, and only add internal links that make sense in your long-term content. If it makes sense to link out two, three times or four times or 10 times, that’s fine. Do whatever makes sense. Don’t obsess about the anchor text and do this with your older articles and newer articles. Seven, nail the basic on-page SEO. From title tags to metadata, to image all texts, the first few paragraphs, your H2 tags, even your URL structures. And if you’re not sure on how to nail that, just go to Ubersuggest.com, type in your URL and go to the site audit report. It’ll tell you all the elements that are off with your on-page SEO and it’ll tell you in order of which ones to fix first, second, third, fourth, and they’ll prioritize which ones will have the biggest impact on your SEO, and just make sure that you fix them in order. And after you do, you can re-crawl your site or page to just double check to make sure everything was fixed. How to Write Blog Posts That Are Better Than Any Other Content Piece On The Web (And Rank Page #1) [Video]

Are you tired of writing blog posts that just aren’t that good? You know, the posts that no one really wants to read? Do you want to write content that’s way better than your competition? Today I’m going to break down, how to write blog posts, that are actually better than any other content piece on the web. And I’m going to teach you how to crush your competitors. I’m going to show you how to write amazing content in three simple steps. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Quora: https://quora.com/Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/____________________________________________Step one, do a competitive analysis on the top 10 results. So, what I want you to do is get a idea of the length of the content that are ranking on Google. So all you have to do is do a Google search for any keyword related to the article that you’re writing and see who’s ringing number one, all the way down to number 10.And what I want you to do is, pick the hottest topics from the headings, the ones that appear the most often when you’re looking at the top 10 results. Check the things that are being mentioned all the time on your competitors content. And all the things that they’re not really covering. You also need to have a clear idea of what the value is for the top results that are offering to visitors, It’s not just about Google, It’s also about the visitors. Are they answering a specific question really quickly? Do they have a calculator that helps them cut through their math and just get what they’re looking for really quickly? Is it a product page that just shows them amazing product? is it a long form content piece that covers everything that they need from nuts to bolts from beginner stuff, like how to install a toilet, to how to install a bidet. And if you create content just for the sake of it? you’re going to fail. Another thing you need to look at is user intent. Do they solve user intent? Are they solving people’s problems really quickly? Now, if you keep those factors in mind, when you’re analyzing the content, it’ll help you understand the type of page you need to create. And what you need to do to outrank your competition. Step two, do your own research. I want you to check out Ubersuggest, take that same keyword, go to neilpatel.com/ubersuggest, or just ubersuggest.com, type in that keyword, you’ll be taken to this report that gives you an overview on the keyword. It shows you how popular it is. You know, how popular it is on mobile versus desktop, over time, the popularity. And it even breaks down other content pieces that are related to, that have done really well in the social world. Now I want you to click on the keyword ideas report. This will show all the other related keywords that you should include potentially in your article that are related. And I’ll show you questions, propositions comparisons. This is all the stuff that’s related, that you may want to put within your article. I also want you to check out Quora and Reddit, because those sites will give you good ideas of what’s also popular around that topic. So now you’ll know, Hey, these are the keywords to include. And these are all the subjects, that my competition isn’t including.Step three, raise your standards and create a page that’s better than everyone else’s. Add different types of media that no one else did, such as data and visualization. I’m not just talking about videos and audio files. I’m talking about, let’s say infographic or graphs, or things that get the message across quicker, or maybe even image carousels on social media or video-based content that are tutorial based. And I want you to write a headline That’s more appealing. Think of clickbait, but clickbait has a bad connotation because clickbait is, is you get someone to click and they’re disappointed when they get to the page. I want you to have a headline, so amazing, people will click. And then when they get to the page, even more happy because your content just knocks their socks off. And check out the content ideas report on Ubersuggest for that keyword as well, because it’ll show you who’s promoted other competitor articles from a link perspective and a social perspective, and you can reach out to those people and get them to link to your article. Because if someone linked to a competitor article, they’re much more likely to link to you as well. How to Write Amazing Blog Posts WITHOUT Being an Expert in Your Niche [Video]

Do you want to learn how to write a blog post when you suck as a writer? Today, I’m going to break down how to write amazing blog posts without being an expert in your niche, the copy and paste process. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Quora: https://www.quora.com/Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/Jarvis: https://www.jarvis.ai/Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/____________________________________________Now, I have a question for you before we get started. Have you ever written a blog post? If you have, let me know how many posts you write on a regular basis in the comments below. And if haven’t, you haven’t just let me know with a no. I’m just curious how many of you actually write content on a regular basis and I’m hoping that this video helps encourage more of you to write, and it speeds up how long it takes you to write. So step one, start with a problem that your target audience needs to solve. You can use tools like Quora, Reddit, Ubersuggest questions, prepositions, and comparisons within Ubersuggest. And that will tell you, hey, here’s what some of the problems and issues that people have.Step two, do keyword research. Go into Ubersuggest, type in some keywords related to your space and as you typing in these keywords, you’ll see a whole slew of suggestions. Do any one of those topics warrant you know, a separate post. Should you end up creating content around that? If so, great. If not, no worries. Or, they can be part of a comprehensive blog posts, right? If you have many different keywords and they’re all related to each other, they can be all part of a comprehensive blog post.Step three, analyze your competition. And what I mean this is type in the keywords in Google that you want to end up ranking for and you want to write your content around, look at your competition. Do they have long blog posts? Do they have short blog posts? What are their subheadings? Do their subheadings contain keywords? Are they answering questions? Are they talking about the problems that they’re trying to help solve? Look at the keywords that they’re ranking for beside their focus keywords, and you can type in those URLs of your competition within Ubersuggests and it’ll tell you that.Step four, find statistics that can help you frame your topic in terms of relevancy, business impact. You can use sites like Statista, Google, and when you’re on Google, you can type in like the keyword plus statistics. You can check out Google Scholar as well. There’s so many data points and stats within that as well.Step five, create your outline for your content piece and I want you to create a few headline variations. It’s all about the headline. They say with headlines, eight out of 10, people will read it, but only two out of 10 will click through to the rest. Now, when you think about headlines, if you’re struggling, check out copyblogger headline formula. You can just Google for that. It’ll help you write better headlines. You also want to check out headings. With your headings, you to include some of the keywords that you’re targeting for. Headings also make it easier for people to just skim your articles, which means their headings should be as catchy as your headlines. Now, you want to cover topics that you’ve seen in the top 10 rank content pieces that are covering the topic that you’re covering and cover additional points and topics that your competition isn’t covering yet, such as if there’s something new that no one’s talking about, you should cover. And just as a rough framework for you, when I’m outlining my content, I start with a headline. Then, I’ll write the conclusion and the conclusion should be a summary of what people should learn. And then, I end the conclusion with a question mark. That’s because it causes more people to leave a comment below, which then helps boost your engagement with your content and you get more and more readers. Now question for you is, do you leave a question at the end of your blog posts? If you do, just let me know with a yes below. If you don’t, just say no, I don’t leave a question at the end to my blog post. And I’m curious. And if you say no, you should consider trying it. It’s a very effective trick. Now, bonus tip. Use tools like Jarvis to AI that can do a lot of the work for you. It can help you with the outlining process and it can write part of your content. It’s not perfect. It won’t write your whole blog post for you, but it can roughly save you maybe, 30 minutes to hour, depending on how prolific of a blogger you are when it comes to writing your own content.
