How to Write Amazing Blog Posts WITHOUT Being an Expert in Your Niche [Video]

Do you want to learn how to write a blog post when you suck as a writer? Today, I’m going to break down how to write amazing blog posts without being an expert in your niche, the copy and paste process. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Quora: https://www.quora.com/Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/Jarvis: https://www.jarvis.ai/Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/____________________________________________Now, I have a question for you before we get started. Have you ever written a blog post? If you have, let me know how many posts you write on a regular basis in the comments below. And if haven’t, you haven’t just let me know with a no. I’m just curious how many of you actually write content on a regular basis and I’m hoping that this video helps encourage more of you to write, and it speeds up how long it takes you to write. So step one, start with a problem that your target audience needs to solve. You can use tools like Quora, Reddit, Ubersuggest questions, prepositions, and comparisons within Ubersuggest. And that will tell you, hey, here’s what some of the problems and issues that people have.Step two, do keyword research. Go into Ubersuggest, type in some keywords related to your space and as you typing in these keywords, you’ll see a whole slew of suggestions. Do any one of those topics warrant you know, a separate post. Should you end up creating content around that? If so, great. If not, no worries. Or, they can be part of a comprehensive blog posts, right? If you have many different keywords and they’re all related to each other, they can be all part of a comprehensive blog post.Step three, analyze your competition. And what I mean this is type in the keywords in Google that you want to end up ranking for and you want to write your content around, look at your competition. Do they have long blog posts? Do they have short blog posts? What are their subheadings? Do their subheadings contain keywords? Are they answering questions? Are they talking about the problems that they’re trying to help solve? Look at the keywords that they’re ranking for beside their focus keywords, and you can type in those URLs of your competition within Ubersuggests and it’ll tell you that.Step four, find statistics that can help you frame your topic in terms of relevancy, business impact. You can use sites like Statista, Google, and when you’re on Google, you can type in like the keyword plus statistics. You can check out Google Scholar as well. There’s so many data points and stats within that as well.Step five, create your outline for your content piece and I want you to create a few headline variations. It’s all about the headline. They say with headlines, eight out of 10, people will read it, but only two out of 10 will click through to the rest. Now, when you think about headlines, if you’re struggling, check out copyblogger headline formula. You can just Google for that. It’ll help you write better headlines. You also want to check out headings. With your headings, you to include some of the keywords that you’re targeting for. Headings also make it easier for people to just skim your articles, which means their headings should be as catchy as your headlines. Now, you want to cover topics that you’ve seen in the top 10 rank content pieces that are covering the topic that you’re covering and cover additional points and topics that your competition isn’t covering yet, such as if there’s something new that no one’s talking about, you should cover. And just as a rough framework for you, when I’m outlining my content, I start with a headline. Then, I’ll write the conclusion and the conclusion should be a summary of what people should learn. And then, I end the conclusion with a question mark. That’s because it causes more people to leave a comment below, which then helps boost your engagement with your content and you get more and more readers. Now question for you is, do you leave a question at the end of your blog posts? If you do, just let me know with a yes below. If you don’t, just say no, I don’t leave a question at the end to my blog post. And I’m curious. And if you say no, you should consider trying it. It’s a very effective trick. Now, bonus tip. Use tools like Jarvis to AI that can do a lot of the work for you. It can help you with the outlining process and it can write part of your content. It’s not perfect. It won’t write your whole blog post for you, but it can roughly save you maybe, 30 minutes to hour, depending on how prolific of a blogger you are when it comes to writing your own content. If You Have ZERO Website Visitors, Do THIS First | Optimizing a New Website For Organic Traffic [Video]

If you have zero website visitors, there’s actually a strategy that’ll help turn things around faster. Today I’m going to break down, if you have zero website visitors, this is what you should do first.RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/____________________________________________Step one, identify keywords and topics that you can win on today. So go to Ubersuggest type in any keyword related to your industry. You’ll then see a report, that ends up showing you how popular that keyword is, how much traffic it gets, how many clicks go to people’s websites. And what I want you to do is go look on the left-hand navigation and click on keyword ideas. And then if you’re not logged in make sure you’re logged in, but this report shows you all the keywords that you could potentially rank for. I want you to then click on the keywords I can rank for button. And then in that box, putting in your URL. What Ubersuggest is doing is, it’s analyzing your website, how many people link to you, your authority, what you can potentially to rank for, and then it filters out all the keywords and shows you what keywords have the biggest potential for you to rank for right now. And if you do that, you now have a list of keywords that are the best fit for your website. And the next thing that you’ll want to do is filter them based on intent. So some of the keywords, even though you can rank for, if the products and services that you offer, don’t align with that keyword, you don’t want to go after it. You want to instead go after the ones that are really ideal fit. Step two, learn from your competitor strategy and spot opportunities. I want you to now use the Ubersuggest competitor analysis reports. A great example of this is the backlinks report. So if you go to the backlinks report, you can put in any competitor URL, and it’ll show you their backlinks. And when you end up doing that, you go over like, hey, maybe I should go after these links. Another thing that I like doing with competitor analysis is looking at the top pages. So anytime I look at the top pages report, and this is one of my favorite parts on Ubersuggest, it shows me all the top pages from an SEO perspective that my competitors rank for. Now, I take this data to then figure out, all right, what pages of content should I create that I haven’t created yet? And what are all the keywords that that page ranks for, for my competition? So now I have a list of keywords. And what are all the people linking to them? because it also shows you all the back links. So then now you have a list of keywords when you’re creating your content, and you have a list of sites to head up to also get to link back to you. Step three, create in-depth content around the main topics you want to focus on. I don’t want you to go broad. Just like how I just talked about video editing, I’m a marketing site. I need to focus more on marketing. And I needed to niche down and be more narrow because that’s how I’m going to perform better in the long run. And once your traffic goes up and you’re starting to do well in your ranking on the first page, I want you to learn and expanse. Your learning some of these key words then expand and broaden up the category. So if I first started blogging on SEO, which is what I did in neilpatel.com. Then I started broadening up to content marketing, then social media marketing, then paid advertising, then conversion optimization, then email marketing. You see how I’m continually expanding? Heck I’m even starting to write articles now, on things like running ads on Hulu or Roku, I’m even talking about television advertising. So I’m still sticking to marketing, but I’m expanding. And eventually I may expand out of marketing and I would still cover it very deeply, but I would also maybe add another category like sales because sales and marketing. 7 Essential Skills Digital Content Writers Need [Video]

What you need to do as a writer is, you need to have concise statements.RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________How to Write Blog Posts That Consistently Rank Well on Google: https://youtu.be/CjzjUbA8nzAHow to Boost Your SEO Traffic with Sleeper Content (And Stop Promoting Worthless Content): https://youtu.be/kUih7iP-YZYHow to Come Up With Content Ideas That Drive Traffic: https://youtu.be/7l5btHy2rxQUbersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/____________________________________________So if you’re a writer, you’re writing to either draw more attention in and eventually convert those eyeballs and that attention into leads, customers, right? Google analytics tells you what content they like, what they don’t, what’s causing them to bounce. It won’t explicitly tell you what’s causing them to bounce, but you can make some educational based guess based on the data that they’re providing. It’ll also tell you the type of content that converts the best, the type of content that doesn’t. So that way, when you’re writing, you can write with the end goal in mind, which is eventually you want to have a conversion, whether that’s someone buying right then and there, or turning into lead, and it’ll provide you that data. If you continually write and write blindly, and you write based off what people tell you is amazing, do your friends do, that’s all great and fine and dandy, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that what you’re writing is going to convert into revenue. So there’s over a billion blogs on the internet. That’s roughly one for every seven people. There’s a lot of blogs. The amount of content that’s being pushed out each day is so overwhelming. We don’t really need much more content, everyone’s regurgitate the same information. If you don’t have a strategy, how are you going to be different? How are you going to stand out? How are you going to convert people? What topics are you going to cover that solve the pinpoints of your customers? If you don’t have a strategy in place and a plan of action, then all you’re going to be doing is producing content that doesn’t really do anything at the end of the day. Even if you think that this is better based off of analytics data, but you don’t have the strategy and how you’re going to attack that, and how you’re going to go forward, then you’re just wasting your time and energy. So the first step in this strategy is attracting the eyeballs. And what you would want to do is see what’s in your space that’s popular. So there’s a tool called Ubersuggest that I have, and you can use it for free. You can type in a keyword or a phrase and click on when you’re in Ubersuggest you want to go to the content ideas report, it’ll tell you what’s popular based off of social shares, like Facebook and Pinterest. Search traffic, what ranks well in Google and how much traffic does it get and what keywords is a rank for. And the third thing is links. What other sites are linking to it because they like the content? So you want to look at the topics and the exact headline that are doing well, and it’ll also show you in the tool, what doesn’t do well. So you want to more so focus on creating content that’s popular on what people like. Now, you don’t want to just copy that and regurgitate what’s already existing on the web, but you want to do something that’s better than that. Think of skyscrapers. And in the United States we may have the Empire State Building, then you may have someone in Dubai who’s like, ah, we’re going to create the Burj Khalifa, I think was what it’s called. And it’s going to be even taller, it’s going to be double the height. I’m making it up. You’re going to have somebody in China say, we’re going to do triple the height, we’re going to have our buildings go into the clouds. The point I’m making is, you want your content to stand out and be unique, go above and beyond what people are already doing. because if something’s already popular and have worked well, if you do something that’s double, triple better, you’re much more likely to have your content do really well too.
