Lights, Camera, Canva: Elevate Your Video Creation Game! Presented by Grant Haynes

NCBOLD 2023 Session: Canva has long been recognized as a fantastic tool for creating polished graphics and print materials, but with the introduction of Canva for Education, the platform has truly elevated its game. Premium templates, graphics, photos, and more are now readily available to teachers and students for free, including access to premium video templates, stock footage, and audio files. With Canva’s vast array of video templates, teachers and students can effortlessly emulate the style of videos that dominate social media feeds.

During this session, participants will unlock the secrets to producing sleek and professional-looking videos that can be utilized for lessons, promoting their classroom or school on social media, student projects, and more. By exploring the range of editing tools offered by Canva, we’ll demystify the video creation process and empower teachers and students alike to showcase their creativity and present their content in a modern and engaging way. In doing so, we’ll also be advancing the Digital Content and Instruction competency by enabling teachers to evaluate and adjust the physical learning environment to better suit digital learning needs through video creation.
