Last-minute shoppers find deals at Perrysburg’s Levis Commons before Christmas [Video]

With more people turning to online shopping, stores aren’t as busy as they used to be the day before Christmas, which left some last-minute shoppers surprised.

TOLEDO, Ohio — It’s the day before Christmas and all through Levis Commons in Perrysburg, some people were last-minute shopping — but ordering gifts online may have put a dent in those crowds.

“Most of my gifts came in through Amazon, to be honest,” said Jason Daniels, a Toledo resident walking around the shopping center on Tuesday. “I ordered online and a few gifts over the last few days.”

Angela Maxwell and her daughter, Maci, were at Levis Commons to browse around and buy things for themselves, as they’ve already ordered gifts through a system they do every year.
