Linkedin Ads are crazy expensive and I’m going to be completely honest.  I have never really had great results from them.  With CPMs of £15 + it is just far to expensive. In comparison I’ve had have CPM of below £0.30 on YouTube.

The only way I have ever had a good return on investment is if you are targeting companies specifically. If you have major high ticket product and a very specific audience that has worked well.

Something last week has just been announced that might just make me revisit LinkedIn ads. The ability to re-target to video viewers with a lead gen advert/form.  This sounds very interesting.  Around 95% of the people that view your video you don’t get data on who is consuming it.  The options are to build audiences of users who watched 25, 50, 75 or 100% of your video.
