How To Go From Zero to 50,000 Email Subscribers [Video]

And this is set to grow to 4.48 billion users by 2024. That's half the world's population. That's a huge number. Some facts for you. 66% of consumers online have made purchases because of a direct result of email. And 72% of customers say that email is their favorite conduit of communication with companies that they do business with. 61% say they like to receive promotional emails weekly and 28% of them want them even more frequently. 72% of us customers prefer email marketing over other types of promotion. Plus it ties everything in, with the apps that you use or the websites that you log in, emails popular. Even if you look at me, I'm sending out two to three emails on a weekly basis, it's super effective and it's worked super well for other people as well. Your highest converting marketing channel from what I've seen everything I've experienced is going to be email marketing. If it's not, that means you're doing something wrong. If you market to your contacts the right way, your emails will get open, read, and most importantly get acted on. First off, if you're e-commerce or you're selling a digital good, abandon cart email and this is where people almost finished the checkup but they don't. And I recommend emailing them within four hours, then 16 hours. And then two days later to try to get them back. The key is just to get them back and buying your product. A flash sale's another type of promotion. So when you have a new customer or you have a new lead on your list, I recommend that you email them immediately. So you build up that rapport right away. I recommend that you send them another email two days later and then I recommend that you send them another email with four days later. It's not just about selling to these people. It's also about just helping them and guiding them as well. Emails with personalized subject lines generate 50% higher open rates, sending three abandoned cart emails results in roughly 69% more orders than one single email. And videos added to your email can increase click rates by roughly 300%, which is huge. And when you're sending out emails keep in mind that Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are the most popular days but if you want the most opens because a lot of people get bombarded on those days, I recommend sending emails on Mondays and Fridays which has been super effective for me. I also do Sundays, which has done really well too. With your lead nurturing process, remember, you can always follow up with your leads not just right then and there but also a week later, a month later, years later as long as you keep educating and helping out and building that value, you can do well with them. You don't need a fortune to be fortunate. And that's why I love email marketing. I once met a guy named John Reese who used to run a site called income.com. And he once told me his email list is like his digital ATM machine. Sends out an email and makes a ton of money. That's the power of email marketing. How to Find All the Keywords That Your Competitors Rank For (But That You Don't) [Video]

Do you have competitors that get more search traffic than you? Do you want to beat them? Well, it all starts with keywords. Hi, everyone. I'm Neil Patel. And today, I'm going to show you how to find all the keywords that your competitors rank for that you don't. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________ Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ ____________________________________________ If you want to go to Ubersuggest just go to Ubersuggests.com and you can type in any URL or keyword. Now I'm already in the app, I've already logged in. So I'm going to type in a keyword or more. So a URL like Neilpatel.com. This is my website. You can type in your website. And if you don't have tons of data, like tons of traffic, you can always type in one of your competitors domains as well. And then I want you to go on the left hand navigation and click on Competing Domains. This shows you all the similar sites that you're competing with. And some of these sites, it's based on overlapping keywords. So the more common keywords you have, the more likely you are to be a competing website. So what I want you to do is literally go through this list of all the ones that are very end up competitors, and look for the Keyword Gaps. So the keywords gap is all the keywords your competitor ranks for that you don't. I'm going to keep clicking Next until I find some keywords that I believe would be valuable to my audience. Remember, not all your competitors will have keywords that are identical to what you want to be going after. So you need to really look through them and pick the ones that are super relevant. Next, Next, Next. And then just pick the keywords that are great for you and delete the ones that aren't related to your business that you don't want to be going after. So I would pick the ones that are the best. Like NLP Chatbots, that could be interesting because a lot of people that would be interested in that probably have sales teams, and they're tryna figure out how to persuade people to convert into customers. When you click Export, it just downloads all the keywords, may take a little bit if they have tons and tons of keywords. And then you want to just go through and do this for all the competition. And I would just go through this and ideally look for the keywords with high volume and high CPC because that means lucrative keywords that can generate revenue. Diploma, digital marketing online, or if someone wants a online digital diploma, that's a lucrative keyword when it looks at $24.74 CPM, volume isn't that great. But you can start going after keywords that have a lot of volume, and high CPC, you just have to go through them. Now I know this process looks like it's time consuming but here's the thing, if you know your competition is already doing well and beating you, it's from the keywords that have high volume and high CPC assuming they're related to their business and related to yours. And those are the ones I want you to make a list of and go after. And then go and create content around those topics. All the ones that are very similar, group them together, if some of these keywords match other pages on your site, but you just don't discuss that part, expand upon those articles and include those keywords as well. And if you do this, and you do this with one article a week, literally just one article a week based on new keywords that you're finding, after a year, I know that sounds like a long time, but it really isn't, you'll notice that your traffic will start growing by leaps and bounds. All those little increments of 5, 10 percent growth, month over month really start adding up after a year. So that's a strategy I want you to implement. You write all this amazing content, and after putting in months and months of hard work, you start getting rankings, but then you fast forward a year. A year later, what happens? Your traffic starts going down. Today I'm going to teach you how to grow your SEO traffic by updating your old content. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________ Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ ____________________________________________ With all the content out there, Google is going to rank the content that doesn't just have the most links or the best on-page SEO. More importantly, they're going to rank the content that has the best user experience. And usually that means that's the content that is fresh, up to date and the most relevant. With one of my earlier websites, Nutritionsecrets I no longer own it. I was able to build up literally over 100,000 visitors a month. And the main strategy that I use wasn't just cranking out new content, it was continually updating and expanding my old articles to get them more and more traffic. So how do you go and update your old content and figure out which pieces to update? Which ones not to update? And heck how do you know what parts to update and how it works? Do you just add a sentence? Do you add in paragraphs? Do you add in more images, videos? Well, I'm going to walk you through that right now step-by-step. The first thing I want you to do is to log into Google Search Console. And when you log in, you go to your website, I want you to click that on the pages link. You'll see that, right? It's already highlighted here under or right next to the queries. The next thing I want you to do is adjust your date range. And you're already on the pages section of Google Search Console, and I want you to sort by the last 28 days over the previous year. And when you do that, it'll show you the articles that were the most popular to least popular in the previous year. Now, going through that list, what you want to do is look for the posts that have lost traffic. So there's quite a few terms that I was getting more traffic from. So what you'll want to do is start Googling those terms to see who's ranking above you. So let's Google schema markup. As you can see, there's an article by Moz, there's an article by Search Engine Journal, then there's Schema.org. And what you'll want to do is click on each of those articles and analyze them and say, "Huh, what did they have that I don't? What is making their article better than mine?" And you want to take that information for all the sites that rank above you, and then you're going to want to modify your content. And you do this by making yours better than there's. You also want to delete anything that's irrelevant. If something doesn't make sense anymore, delete it. When you update the article, I want you to also update the publish by date, so searching engines know it's updated. And don't just think about word count, think about user experience. You need to do what's best for the user and not obsess or worry about word count. And lastly, I recommend that you don't change your URL. If you want to change your URL, that's fine but just 301 redirect the old URL to the new one. And once you update it, go back into Search Console, type in your URL in the search bar at the top, it'll start fetching the page and then boom, request it for indexing, and then you're off into the races and within 30 days you should start seeing increase in SEO traffic to that page.
