===== Part 1 : Launch Your Website =====

Step 1 : Choose Your Website Name

To choose the name, click this link ➜

Now enter the name you want & click ‘Check Availability’.

If it is available, you can go to the next step.

Step 2 : Get Your Hosting & Domain Name

Hosting is the place where your portfolio site’s files will be stored and
Domain Name is your website’s address.

So to get your hosting & domain name which you’ve selected,

Click ‘Get Hosting’ and it will take you to a website called ‘GoDaddy’.

This is the place, where you’re going to get your hosting & domain.

Now click ‘Get Started’ & choose a plan based on your requirements.

Now fill the required details and make the payment.

So now you’ve got your hosting & domain.

Now in order to use your domain, you need to verify your email address.

Once you’ve verified your email address, you can go to the next step.

Step 3 : Install WordPress

To install WordPress, first you need to create your login details for WordPress.

Once you’ve created login details, click ‘Continue’ to login.

Next choose the nearest server & click ‘continue’.

And now WordPress will be installed.

Step 4 : Attach the domain

To attach your domain,

Go to the godaddy dashboard and click ‘Setup’ right next to the custom
domain and then click ‘Attach’ to connect your domain.

So now you’ve successfully launched your website.

===== Part 2 : Setup Elementor on Your Website =====

Step 1 : Login to your WordPress site

To login to your site,

Just type ‘/login’ after your site address

Now enter the login details which you’ve given for WordPress.

Now click ‘Login’ and you will be redirected to your WordPress dashboard.

Step 2 : Get a Theme

To get a theme which is compatible with Elementor,

Click this link ➜

Now select a theme you like & click ‘Get Astra’.

And your theme will be downloaded to your computer.

Step 3 : Install the theme on your website

To install the theme,

Go to WordPress Dashboard ► Appearance ► Themes ► Add New ► Upload

Now just drag and drop the downloaded file & click ‘Install’ & ‘Activate’.

And now you’ve installed the theme.

Step 4 : Install Elementor plugin

To install Elementor plugin, Click this link ➜

Now find the Elementor plugin and click ‘Get Elementor’.

And the elementor plugin will be downloaded to your computer.

Now go to WordPress Dashboard ► Plugins ► Add New ► Upload

Now just drag and drop the downloaded file & click ‘Install’ & ‘Activate’.

So now you’ve successfully completed setting up Elementor on your site.

===== Part 3 : Start Building Your Site =====

To build your site, start by creating a homepage.

To edit any page of your site, just click ‘Edit with Elementor’.

Now you can edit any content on that page like changing the text, image or adding your own content.

Once you’re done with the changes, click ‘Update’ to save it.

Now if you want to change the logo or menu section, click the ‘Customize’ option.

Now if you want to create a new page,

Go to WordPress Dashboard ► Pages ► Add New

You can create your page using elements like text, image, video etc just by drag & drop.

Also you can use a wide variety of blocks by importing it.

And you can also import Page templates and start customizing.

So this is how you can add a new page to your website.

Now if you visit your website in mobile, you can see it is automatically optimised for mobile view.

You can also customize your site for mobile view by changing the responsive mode to mobile in elementor.
