Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) walked out of Sen. Ted Cruz's hearing on anarchist violence across the country on Tuesday after refusing to condemn Antifa. The Subcommittee on the Constitution's hearing was titled, "The Right of the People Peaceably to Assemble: Protecting Speech by Stopping Anarchist Violence." "Sometimes I don’t think you listen," Hirono said to Cruz. "So how many times have I had to say that we all should be denouncing violent extremists of every stripe."
"Does that include Antifa?" Cruz shot back.
