Amazon’s Christmas ad has gone straight for the heart strings and in a sign of the times has a strong COVID theme.
The cinematic ad follows the story of a young girl who is cast as the star in her ballet school’s winter show.
And despite the fact COVID shuts down schools, the hopeful girl continues to prepare for the performance.
She even follows her Zoom dance classes and practices in her cramped apartment as well as stretching on the stairwell.
But her heart is broken when the show is eventually cancelled.
Not being able to bear watching her big sister crying the girl’s little sister decides to organise an impromptu show on a nearby rooftop.
